TEL #The Office Life

My first office was a converted bedroom in my childhood home that looked out onto a busy main street. It was complete with a computer, l-shaped desk and printer. A very nice start indeed. It only took two months however and I traded the comfortable surroundings of home for a ninety (90) square foot room with a view overlooking the Dan Ryan on Chicago's Southside. The amenities in the common areas were amazing. This was my very humble beginning away from home-base. I had arrived.

By the second quarter, six months into being a business owner I was blessed with my first commercial office space, a three hundred (300) plus square foot office complete with my company name on the business directory! The view was grander then the first. I would sit many mornings peeking into a forest of trees to catch a glimpse of cargo trains as they slowly rolled by as if there was no particular place to go, this I found to be very therapeutic. TEL (aka The Entrepreneur Life) has set the expectations, I want the office away from home with all the bells and whistles.
